To Have Played and Lost, is Better Than to Have Never Played At All

The Lady Patriots came out early and strong yet ended the half tied at 6-6. While the turf was hot, the fans were rowdy and the game was getting more physical, the Patriots continued to go head to head with the #8 Asheville School Blues. We saw goals from 5 different Patriot players with Freshman, #6 Delaney Brown leading the team with 3 goals and 3 assists, Senior, #8 Aicha Kaouss netted 2 goals and Senior, #5 Kate Roberts, Junior, #2 Grace Meister and Sophomore, #3 Jaden Graham each with 1. Despite the team effort, the Patriots fell just short of victory. In their first ever NCISAA playoff appearance, the Lady Patriots lost 8-9. Senior Goalie, #15 Libby Otto had 9 saves and lead the team in interceptions collecting 3 total.
