From the first day you step on campus, you’ll be welcomed, supported, and challenged to push beyond boundaries.
In the classroom, you’ll acquire foundational knowledge, pursue your interests and curiosities, and collaborate with others on projects with real-world implications.
Beyond the classroom, Davidson Day offers an abundance of enriching experiences for students from early childhood through graduation.
Our dedicated, professional faculty are also coaches, advisors, trip leaders, facilitators, and friends. Teaching means so much more than the delivery of content; you’ll find our faculty and staff believe in you and believe that every Patriot can and will make a difference in our world.
Patriot student-athletes see every practice, game, class, and exam as an opportunity to push beyond boundaries. School sports begin in 5th Grade though we offer many athletic student clubs for Early Childhood and Lower School students.

Fourth grader Wesley Duncan recently had the opportunity to play the child version of Jimmie Johnson (wearing the yellow racing suit) in a national Indycar Carvana commercial that came out today, timed to run leading up to the 105th Running of the Indianpolis 500 on May 30, 2021. Jimmie Johnson is a seven-time NASCAR Cup Series champion who partners with Chip Ganassi Racing to drive car No. 48, sponsored by Carvana. Very cool, Wesley!

Head of the English Department, Dr. Kerri Hunt, shared: "Thanks to all the students who submitted their work -- we have many promising writers in the Upper School, and it was difficult to pick just two winners!"
Blumenthal Performing Arts holds The Blumey Awards each spring for "Excellence in High School Musical Theater," and each year Davidson Day's Theatre Program proudly takes part in the nominations.
Since in-person performances were not possible this year, The Blumey Awards held auditions for interested musical theatre actors instead. Three Davidson Day students auditioned -- Kathleen Moore '23, Ashlyn Letarte '24, and Ella Grace Wolfe '22 -- and Kathleen was nominated in the first round as "Best Actress." Next, she will participate in a Musical Theatre Bootcamp and workshop and perform in The Blumey Awards' Opening Number, and then there will be a second round of auditions from which the top six male and femal best actor nominees will be chosen. Well done, Kathleen!
