Carolina Day School
DDS lost a heartbreaker 1-0 to 3A Carolina Day School. The game was pretty even throughout most of the game although we had several opportunities to score. Unfortunately, we just couldn’t seem to punch one by their keeper, who, in my opinion, might be the best we see all year. The second half we definitely outplayed CDS, who seemed to just hang on. But, soccer is a cruel sport and sometimes, the better team doesn’t win, as they really didn’t have a threat on our goal in the second half. Credit to them as good teams take advantage of miscues, and we had one blunder that proved costly in the end.
