DDS rolls over Westminster Catawba

DDS overcame an unrecongizable, slow and shaky start to steamroll Westminster Catawba, 7-1.  Regan Pelino got DDS on the board first with a great finish after a terrific pass out of the back from Rachel Brown.  Mary Alexander scored on a feed from Regan Pelino.  Minutes later, Mary missed a PK after a terrible foul on the box by WCCS.  At that point, the train wouldn't be denied and the onslaught started.  Mary scored two more goals in the first half and Regan added another.  Erin Tinkler finally got in the scoring column by finishing a PK after a hand ball in the box.  Erin finished the game in goal, with a second half shut out.  YanYu Xie scored her first goal of the season on a beautiful finish off the direction of Reagan.  Carolyn Conway played great at both ends of the field and finished with an assist.  Hannah Dyer helped keep the pressure on WCCS and out of our end. Sehrena Hull and Olivia Moody had a great effort and finished with several quality scoring opportunities. Enjoy spring break and keep a ball on your foot!
