Jackson Threadgill '20 Selected for Elite Basketball Academy

Rising senior Jackson Threadgill was selected to participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) inaugural College Basketball Academy at the University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut, July 25-28, 2019.
The NCAA College Basketball Academy is a new developmental boys basketball academy for prospective student-athletes in the classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022. The academy was created in response to recommendations from the Commission on College Basketball that was chaired by former Secretary of State, Dr. Condoleezza Rice. With input from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC), the academy is designed to give prospective student-athletes a sample of the college basketball experience.
"With the high level of competition and the experience of the instructors leading the event, this is a great opportunity for Jackson and the other young men selected to participate" said Davidson Day head boys basketball coach Ron Johnson.
