Greensboro Day (3A)
The Davidson Day baseball team played great vs. PACIS conference rival, Greensboro Day (3A). Greensboro Day is traditionally a strong team at the NCISAA-3A level and they have enjoyed much success on the baseball diamond this season as well. Jake Dyer pitched five great innings for the Patriots and earned the win. Alex Ansted closed the game in dramatic fashion to seal the win for the Patriots. Joel Serepca, Seth McAulay, Alex Ansted, Ryan Restino, and Spencer Bright all had big hits for the Patriots offensively. Seth McAulay had a three RBI hit to put the Patriots on top of GDS. The defense played with a lead and the Patriots won a big game, 8-7 at home.
