Carolina Day

Davidson Day played another great baseball game vs. Carolina Day (2A) Wednesday night. The Patriots battled to the very end but came up short, for the third time this year, by only one run. Jake Dyer and Alex Ansted pitched great. The duo combined to strike out nine Carolina Day hitters. Offensively, DDS had six hits. Jacob Nelson had a monster three run home run, Jake Dyer picked up two hits, Alex Ansted, Chase Saine, and Spencer Bright each had a solid hit as well. Defensively, Spencer Bright, Jacob Nelson, and Ryan Restino all played very well.
