The DDS JV basketball team decided to show the home crowd their hard work and defensive pressure with a 19 - 6 point first quarter.
Trey Horton led the quarter with 7 points, but his attacking offense was impressive.
The first half started strong and ended equally as strong with a half-court buzzer shot by Dan Hills! Halftime score reflected the team's dedication to defense, 30-11.
We had contributions by all 11 players, but closed the game with Cole Calloway, Kiko Williams and Ben Slay controlling the forth quarter with a barrage of defensive stops and transition baskets.
