Community School of Davidson

Community School of Davidson gave our Lady Patriots their biggest challenge of the season to date. The girls came out strong not missing a single serve and overpowered CSD 25-17 in the first set. The second set was a bit more challenging, but the girls did a great job making 3 contacts on each play and really made the Spartans fight for their come from behind win (23-25) which forced a 3^rdgame. In the third set the teams went back and forth, point for point in a nail biting fight to the finish game. Unfortunately, the Patriots came up short (15-13), but are looking forward to the Junior Piedmont Conference Tournament next week. The Patriots earned the number one seed and will kick off semifinals by hosting Corvian Community School on Tuesday at 4pm in Yates gymnasium.
