Next Man Up

Tonight our young Patriots faced off against Corvian Community School Cardinals. The Patriots have been bitten by the injury bug as of late. Jack Clancy went down with and an ankle sprain in practice yesterday. Tonight we had another starter go down with a ankle sprain, Trey Horton. In fact, all five starters have had some for of ankle injury this season. 

However this is a pretty resilent group of players. The team pulled together and got after on the defensive end of the court by holding the Cardinals to 11 points for the game. Another balanced effort of scoring as 7 of 9 players scored toinght. Calloway led the team in scoring with 18, followed by a very strond performance with Howard. Shire stepped up tonight on the offensive end of the court by chipping in 9 pts. Patriots get the win 60-11.

I really wish I had the staff to keep other stats, such as deflections, rebounds, and turn overs. There is so much more to the story of each game then the points that get logged in score book. The point is, we are getting a lot contribution from each player, I just have the staff or resources to chart that information. Every player on this team has been vital to this teams success thus far. Keep up the good work. Im very proud of the growth these young men have exhibited over this season.
