Davidson Day Launches Digital Citizenship Week with Parent Seminars

At the beginning of the 2016-2017 school year, students will take part in classroom lessons, assemblies and seminars that will comprise Davidson Day’s Digital Citizenship Week August 22-26. The goal of the week is to encourage young people to harness the power of the Internet and digital technology for learning, while at the same time serving and operating as safe, responsible and savvy digital citizens.

As part of Digital Citizenship Week, Davidson Day has scheduled two parent seminars with Susan Wind of Parents Knowmore. Here, you will learn about the latest trends in social media and the ways our children are communicating electronically.

If you’ve given your child a mobile phone, if they play on an iPad, or if they have access to a computer in your home, for the safety of your child, it is imperative that you attend one of these seminars.

Option #1: Tuesday, Aug. 23 at 8:30 a.m.
Option #2: Thursday, Aug. 25 at 6:30 p.m.
Please register by Friday, Aug. 19 by clicking here

We are thrilled to launch Digital Citizenship Week at Davidson Day and look forward to sharing valuable information with our students and parents.
