Davidson Day Wins the Davidson Rival Over Neighboring Community School
On Thursday, March 7, the DDS girls lacrosse team had a decisive win over Community School of Davidson, 16-5.
The Lady Patriots' defense is to be commended for the win with turnovers caused by Estella Sawyer '22, Laura Luster '24, Elizabeth Crispino '19, Jaden Graham '21, and Kate Roberts '19 and eight saves by goalie, Libby Otto '19. Estella Sawyer '22, Annie Carr '20, Delaney Brown '22, Jaden Graham '21, Libby Otto '19, and Kate Roberts '19 had some clutch interceptions, and ground balls picked up by Audrey Hanson '21, Cameron Baker '22, Grace Meister 20, and Delaney Brown '22 allowed the team to keep control of the game.
Scorers in the game included Delaney Brown '22, Kate Roberts '19, Grace Meister '20, and two first time scorers this season, Annie Carr '20 and Lauren Meister '22.
