Davidson Day's Community Engagement Program values proximity, partnership, action, reflection, and belonging in alignment with Davidson Day School’s mission to foster academic excellence through collaboration, creativity, and character development.

Davidson Day Summit: The Value of Community Engagement

The Davidson Day Summit: The Value of Community Engagement is the inaugural Davidson Day School event spotlighting non-profit and industry leaders locally and abroad who are making a difference in their communities. In addition, we will introduce Davidson Day's new Community Engagement Program whose vision is to deepen students’ connections in their communities through leadership and service. Community Engagement Council student-leaders will serve as ambassadors and moderate the panel of experts. Together, alongside experienced community activists and officers, we will seek to define community engagement, understand why service learning is academically relevant, and connect through audience Q&A.

What Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
In Addition: Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and members of Davidson Day student clubs will be represented.
